SB2021 stands for the meetings of 2 permanent subsidiary bodies (SBI and SBSTA) of the UNFCCC negotiation process. The UN Climate Change subsidiary bodies sessions are organized from 31 May to 17 June 2021. They are entirely virtual conferences.

Delegates worldwide discuss climate finance, emission mitigation, climate change adaptation, carbon markets, loss and damage, transparency and many other important topics. This briefing of CAN International explains all the things you need to know about the subsidiary buddy meetings.

CAN International – the world’s largest network of civil society organisations with more than 1500 members in over 130 countries- will monitor the event and inform the public.
